Lublin has a very active start-up scene, funded by various sources such as Invest Lublin and the universities. There are regular events — one of them revolves around founders who were successful only on their second or third attempt.

Michal takes us to one of these so-called “fuckup nights”, where we also meet Tomasz again, the director of the science and technology park, as well as Alex from the mayor’s office and other new acquaintances. The mood is exuberant but also very business-oriented.
