Fourteen days in Sofia – appointments with the lawyer, the notary, and the bank. Additionally, conversations with potential employees and headhunters. In certain areas, the differences between countries are shockingly small – in other areas, monstrously large.

Fortunately, Bulgaria’s government is a fairly lean state – and yet many things works better than in Western European countries. As far as the weather is concerned, anything seems possible – sitting outside in 18 degrees and the onset of winter alternate every third day.
