Sofia – Chamber of Commerce… Establishing and Maintaining Contacts

We stayed in Sofia for almost two weeks. During that time, we met for talks with chambers of commerce, banks and lawyers. Furthermore, we initiated evaluations regarding offices and general infrastructure. With its approximately 1.4 million inhabitants, Sofia is not only the largest city in Bulgaria but also one of the oldest cities in Europe.
Together with the highway to Serbia and a direct connection to Bucharest, the new highway to Thessaloniki will dramatically improve Sofia’s access to the international transportation network. In past years, tens of thousands of jobs were created in the area’s automotive, IT and textile industries, and the city is undergoing an impressive transition.
